Service submission is one of the most common forms of D/s dynamic, and one that many Dommes love. This includes me, I love service submission! When I spend time with a sub I try to find out what special skills they have so I can use them for my service. Good submissives are happy to serve.

What is service submission?

Being a service submissive just means submitting to a Domme by doing useful acts for her. You are serving her the way a servant would serve a queen. Most of the time it involves doing chores, but it can also be services that show devotion, like writing poetry for her. Service submission is usually a form of non-sexual kink, so all the things on this list are non-sexual. However you can easily make service submission have a sexual angle if you want. For instance, make your submissive clean the floor, while naked… and humping the floor.

Service submission can take many forms. It can be a one time thing at a kink party, like a submissive serving drinks on a tray to the Dommes. Or it can be a part of a female led relationship or cuckolding dynamic. For instance a cuckold can prepares the bed with clean sheets and rose petals for sex. He is performing an act of service submission. Service submission can be an entire dynamic of its own: a common version of this is having a submissive maid, and having him come each week to clean your house.

Here are some of my favorite ideas for service submission. I’ve done most of the things on this list and found it enjoyable. Dommes and subs, you can use these ideas how you want – modify them and get creative.

1. Make coffee or tea for her and bring it on a tray. Prepare the milk, sugar, spoons, and napkins. Put effort into this, and bow to her when you set it down on the table.

2. Wash the dishes. You can wear an apron, be naked, wear a special slave uniform, whatever you want. Make the dishes sparkling clean for her.

3. Walk her dog, take care of her pets, brush their fur, fill their bowls with pet food. Your Domme will be happy that you care for her pets.

4. Give her a manicure and pedicure. There’s something so beautiful about being at her feet, giving them attention and devotion. I have more spa -service ideas in my post on female-female D/s dynamics. Subs of any gender can learn how to do spa services.

5. Lotion her body (if she allows you). Apply lotion to her legs and arms. Being this close to a Domme’s body can be very special for a service sub, who otherwise might not be allowed to touch their Domme.

6. Be a kitchen sub. Learn her favorite foods and drinks and make them for her! Set the table with plates and silverware, and a drink. If you’re lucky maybe you can sit at the table with her.

7. Be her bartender, if she drinks alcohol. Learn new cocktail recipes and make them for her. Note which are her favorite and which ones she doesn’t like so you can offer her all her favorite cocktails.

8. Be a butler. Bring her a glass of wine, then when it’s empty take it away. Be on call, ready to brings things whenever she rings the bell. She can ring the bell, and tell you to come take off her socks, or to bring her a book.

9. Be her maid and clean her house. Bring all your cleaning supplies and clean it. Get on your hands and knees and scrub the floor, clean the windows, dust everything. If you wear a maid outfit or not is up to your Domme.

10. Wash her car. It’s so nice for a Domme to see her subs hard at work, making her car nice and shiny.

11. Water her plants. This is so easy to do that any beginner service sub can offer this.

12. Get her bath ready for her. Light candles, get a bath bomb ready, and call her when the bath is full. Bring her a glass of wine, and read poetry to her while she takes a bath.

13. Do her laundry! Iron it, fold it, put it in the closet. if you’re lucky you might be allowed to even wash her panties. You might get entranced, like this movie clip of a submissive maid laundering her Domme’s panties.

14. Alphabetize her books or arrange them by color. Organize her bookshelf the way she wants it done.

15. Be her chauffeur. Drive her wherever she wants to go. You can wear a special chauffeur uniform when you do it. You can also use your bike, or a tandem bike to transport her places. If you rent a boat, you can do the rowing while she relaxes.

16. Carry her places. Carry her to wherever she wants to go. If you’re walking on the street and there’s a puddle on the ground, life her and carry her over it (if she allows you to)

17. Do her grocery shopping – Pick up orders for her, or follow her shopping list as you do the grocery shopping.

18. Do her hair (if you know how). Shampoo it, cut it, dye it and style it how she likes. BUT be careful not to cut her hair unless you’re confident you can do a good job.

19. Lift heavy things and carry her bags for her. If you go shopping together, carry her things. If she’s re-decorating her home, help move the furniture. If she’s moving to a new place, help move her things to her new home.

20. Be her yard worker. Grow flowers, fruits and vegetables for her. Ask her what kinds of flowers she wants in her yard and plant them for her. In the fall, rake the leaves, and in the winter shovel the snow.

21. Build her a fire. You can do this inside or outside. Get the fireplace going for her in the winter. Or in summer, offer to build a campfire for her and bring marshmallows and skewers so she can roast marshmallows over the fire.

22. Give her a massage. This can mean a foot, hand or back massage. Read massage books, watch videos or go to classes to learn how to be a good masseur. This is one of the most valuable skills a sub can have, in my opinion.

23. Help her with her projects. For me, this usually means assistance with website design, SEO, sending emails, etc.

24. Offer to do editing or proofreading for her if you’re good at this.

25. Clean her boots. This is a good one to do on your hands and knees. In a submissive position, you polish her boots and look up, seeing her Dominant beauty as she looks down on you, supervising you.

26. Write poetry or music about her and read it or sing it to her. Show your spiritual devotion to her through writing.

27. Do research for her or send her articles about her interests. I ask subs on fetlife to send me interesting articles about Femdom in history. This is a great way to serve me, and I’m so happy when subs do this.

28. Be her personal shopper. When you go shopping together, bring her clothes and shoes in her size, or in a different color. She can wait and relax, while you find what she needs and bring it to her. Be a good servant and do what she says. This is a good subtle act of D/s in public.

29. Get her coat and shoes ready for her before you leave the house. Open her coat for her so she can slide her arms into the sleeves.

30. Get on your knees and lace up her boots or shoelaces for her. You can do this in public too, when you open her coat for her.

31. Offer your Netflix or other streaming accounts for her availability so she can watch movies. You can make the popcorn and bring it to her in a bowl.

32. Fix broken things (only do this if you know how, so you don’t end up breaking it even more). Fix her broken chair, reboot her electronic device, change a burned out light bulb, patch the holes in the wall.

33. Be her tailor. Sew up holes in her clothing, or tailor them to her body. If you have basic sewing skills, learn how to get even better so you can offer to do alterations on her clothes. If you know how to sew clothes from scratch, tell her! Really, this is a good skill to have!

34. Be her photographer. If she wants photos of herself, take photos of her. Learn how to take good photos so she won’t be disappointing. If you are a professional photographer in your everyday life, you should absolutely mention this to Dommes.

35. When it’s hot, fan her. Carry a fan with you, so you can fan her and cool her off.

36. When it’s cold, warm her hands. Rub them and hold them in your hands to warm them. You can also offer her hand warmers. A sub did this for me once, and I was very pleasantly surprised. We were walking around the city on a cold day, and he brought hand warmer packers just in case my hands got cold. That’s very thoughtful.

37. Clean her sex toys! Clean her dildos, crops, floggers and arrange them nicely in a drawer. If you’re a cuckold, you can clean her vibrator or other toys, right after she has sex with someone else.
