What is a hypnotic state?

A hypnotic state is a state of mind in which you become open and relaxed. Though it has a reputation for being spooky, it’s a normal state that anyone can achieve. Much like sleeping, getting lost in thought or experiencing flow, a hypnotic state is just another state of consciousness. What makes a hypnotic state so special, is that it’s charged with the potential to alter you.

Many people enter light hypnotic states when concentrating on something like reading a book or watching T.V. Think about a time when you’ve really gotten lost in a book, flipping through pages and pages without thinking about your own life. You focused on the content of the book, in a light hypnotic state.

In a hypnotic state, you enter a state of focus without other thoughts distracting you.  You’re no longer paying attention to your own thoughts. Instead, your hypnotized mind is following your hypnotist’s voice.

Hypnotic Effects

Psychologists are still researching the effects of hypnosis, since many people have different reactions. The effects it can have are wide as the horizon. Hypnotic effects include overcoming addiction, lessening pain, changes in identity, and building new habits. There is no universal response to hypnosis. Everyone can experience varying levels of intensity in response to hypnosis. However there are a few changes that usually happen in a hypnotic state:

Subjects become more suggestible.

Subjects can visualize ideas more vividly.

Subjects’ self awareness changes.

In a hypnotic state, you’re not thinking about what you’re doing, you are simply following along and imagining what you’re told to imagine. You’re visualizing and following without letting your own self-talk get in the way. Becoming suggestible means you are more open to new possibilities than in a lucid state. Different people have different levels of suggestibility, but anyone can become more suggestible once they are in a hypnotic state. This is what makes is possible to slowly alter your behaviors and thoughts, which I use to train my subjects into being good submissives. So what does it feel like to be in a hypnotic state? The only way to know how you will respond is to try it yourself. I have two free files aimed at beginner submissives who want to try hypnosis, Good Boy Training Part 1 and Part 2.
